Minnesota lacks a world-class facility for the most popular international sport. While there are several stadiums in the Twin Cities area, none currently pass the standards for professional soccer. Soccer is better played on natural grass, outdoors and in an intimate setting that provides quality acoustics and is built specifically for a crowd of 20,000-30,000 singing fans. The new soccer stadium will attract better soccer talent and world-class competitions to Minnesota.
